New Developments
We are pleased to say that great progress is being made with our new developments in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. When completed, one home, Durlston Lodge, will have 6 bedrooms together with en-suite bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, an activity room and plenty of communal space. The other home, Durlston House, will be similar but will have 5 bedrooms.
Durlston Lodge is due for completion in 2012 and Durlston House in January 2013.

Other Information
When sourcing a suitable property, we look at the surrounding environment as well as the property itself. Part of our philosophy is that all the individuals in our care are given the opportunity to become involved in the local community, appropriate to their wishes and ability. Therefore, the property needs to have easy access to facilities and activities outside of the home.
Once a property is acquired it will refurbished, and subsequently maintained, to a high standard. The majority of individual bedrooms will have en-suite facilities and communal space is usually in excess of the minimum requirement. If individuals have specific requirements/needs, if possible these will be taken into account when planning the refurbishment.
Our homes are registered by the Care Quality Commission under the Health & Social Care Act 2008. To obtain such registration, we must comply with the regulations set out in the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.
