As we have continued to grow since 2004 one of our greatest achievements has been the career development of our staff team.
Our two newest managers have been with the company for approximately 5 years. They started as support workers and followed the career path to become shift leaders, senior support workers and now managers.
In order to develop their skills they have achieved their NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 4 and will move onto the next appropriate management qualification. They have also attended in house management training, supervision training and are working to their own personal development plan.
Not everyone aspires to home management but do aim to become a shift leader or senior. Some support workers are very happy in their daily role but have welcomed opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge in other areas including:
Every member of the staff team will be supported to continue to develop their Autism expertise and will work towards a relevant external qualification as part of the Qualification Credit Framework.
