Local MP Tessa Munt visits Apple Tree House
Apple Tree House staff and service users were delighted to welcome local MP Tessa Munt along to show her their home.
Tessa was shown around the home by Kirsty, the home manager, and Richard Smith, the managing director. The different structures and systems that are used within Apple Tree was discussed together with incentive plans and communication tools used to support the service users within the home.
Alex, a service user at Apple Tree, spoke to Tessa about his job at Garden World and showed her his flower patch where he grows all of his flowers from seeds. Alex explained to Tessa the different sorts of plants he had and how he takes care of them.
An enjoyable day was had by all.

Day Support Workers
We are immediately recruiting for our home in Wiltshire, and vacancies regularly become available in our other homes following internal promotion and normal movement of staff.
Experience is not needed as we give extensive induction, ongoing training and support, including relevant vocational qualifications, plus ongoing promotion and/or specialisation opportunities. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible rota shift system, which will include weekends, sleep ins and on call duties in a 37.5 hour week. Day support worker rates of pay start from £7.04 per hour.
