Senior Support Workers, Shift Leads and Support Workers
Whilst there are no current vacancies in the group (February 2010), new vacancies regularly become available following internal promotion and normal movement of staff. Day Support Workers
Experience is not needed as we give extensive induction, ongoing training and support, including NVQ 2 & 3, graduated pay and extra holidays based on length of service, plus ongoing promotion and/or specialisation opportunities. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible rota shift system, which will include some weekends and sleep ins in a 37.5 hour week. Day support worker rates of pay start from £7.52 per hour.

Another good annual service review: Apple Tree House
In line with previous annual service reviews, Apple Tree House, our 4-bed home in Berrow, Somerset for people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome, has received a positive annual service review from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The report highlights the registration of Lorraine Taylor as Registered Manager since the last review and the home's demonstrable commitment to ongoing improvements. The review also highlights Apple Tree House's innovative communications work, the continued integration of the people living at the home into the local community and the home's commitment to providing the widest range of activities for the residents.

Hilltop gets "Good" rated CQC report!
We have now received the final report for Hilltop, our autism specific residential care home in Weston-super-Mare, which has been rated as 2-star or "Good" by the CQC. The report can be downloaded from our Downloads Page. Hilltop, which provides specialist care for non-verbal residents, opened in August 2006 and currently has one vacancy available - see below for more details.

Holly Tree Cottage gets positive annual service review
Holly Tree Cottage, our autism specific residential care home in Berrow, Somerset has just received a positive annual service review from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The report highlights a "very caring and well trained staff group" and is "impressed with the way staff look after clients."
