Service user vacancies

One new vacancy is available in our autism specific residential care homes, arising as service users have, as a result of the good work we have done over the last three years, moved on to more independent living or to live closer to family.

Vacancy 1

Hilltop in Weston-super-Mare is an autism specific care home which opened in August 2006. In line with our other homes, Hilltop was refurbished to a high standard and caters for people who are aged sixteen to forty when they move in. Hilltop has a sensory room and an activity room. Our Hilltop staff have specialist expertise in communication with individuals having limited or no verbal communication skills. We also have TEACCH specialist team contributing to the work in support of our service users.

Job vacancies

We have vacancies for Support Workers. Experience is not essential as we will provide full induction and ongoing training. Go to our Downloads Page for more information and an application form.

We also have openings for Senior Support Workers. Knowledge and experience if working with adults with autism is required. NVQ 2 is essential, as is the commitment to achieving NVQ 3. You will also receive full induction and ongoing training, including our Management Development Programme. Both positions will work a flexible rota shift system, which will include some weekends and sleep ins in a 37.5 hour week.
