In December 2011 CQC carried out an unannounced inspection at Stafford Lodge.  We are delighted to say that the subsequent report is very positive and supportive of the quality, caring service which we offer to our service users and CQC have deemed the home to be meeting all the essential standards of quality and safety.   As you might imagine, we are very pleased with this result but we will continue to improve the service further.

Stafford Lodge is run as a family-style residential care home and has 4 large, fully en-suite bedrooms and a ground floor flatlet for semi-independent living arrangement.

As with all our homes, Stafford Lodge maintains our high standards of excellence. There is substantial communal space for the service users including a games and recreation room and generous grounds. There are three separate garden areas: a lawned area, a patio with flower beds and a private garden for the ground floor flatlet. The conservatory gives service users a large light and pleasant space in which to eat, pursue various activities or simply to relax.
